Sachiko Hara

Sachiko Hara grew up in Fukuoka/Japan. She studied piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with Michael Schäfer and Karl-Hermann Mrongovius. In addition to the classical repertoire, she is dedicated to contemporary music and experimental music. She has been a guest performer with several ensembles for contemporary music. She has performed theatre music at the Munich Kammerspiele, the Ruhrtriennale, the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Staatstheater Stuttgart. In 2009 she received the Förderpreis für Musik of the city of Munich, where she is currently living and working.
