Matías Hernán Sagreras

Matías Hernán Sagreras studied at the Astor Piazzolla Conservatory and at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. Further studies of improvisation and French organ music followed with Loïc Maillé (France), Juan de la Rubia (Spain) and Daniel Roth (France). Since 2009 he has been titular organist and director of church music at the Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament (Mutin-Cavaillé-Coll organ). In 2020, he followed the appointment as professor of organ at the National University of San Juan. On Argentine radio, he directs the programme Organística, which deals with organ music and current topics related to the organ. He regularly works with renowned orchestras and choirs and is much in demand as a concert musician.
