Monika Abel-Lazar, Sopran

Monika Abel-Lazar (soprano) studied in Freiburg and Stuttgart with Prof. Ulrike Sonntag, graduating with top marks in 2019. She received a scholarship from the Live Music Now Foundation. Engagements have taken her to the Stadttheater Lindau and the Junge Oper Stuttgart as Papagena (Zauberflöte), among others. She gives concerts and recitals regularly throughout Germany, e.g. with the Philharmonic String Quartet Munich. Since 2018 she has been a member of the Bavarian Radio Concert Choir. She is currently completing postgraduate studies with Prof. Elena Pankratova in Graz. Further information at monika-abel-lazar.de.
